It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Maxine Ball McGee (Asheboro, North Carolina), who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earlie Ball and Esther Calloway Ball; her husband Samuel Donald McGee, Sr.; and her sister Carol Williams. She is survived by: her children, Samuel Donald McGee Jr. of High Point, Denise Davis (Ken) of Thomasville, Darlene McGee (Samuel McPherson) of Julian and Brittany Martin (David) of Pleasant Garden; her brothers, Gene Ball of Lexington and George Ball of Southport; her grandchildren, Katherine Foti (Raymond) of Julian, Samantha McPherson of Moncure and Davis Martin of Pleasant Garden; and her great grandchildren, Miles and Rhett Foti. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, the family will have a celebration of Eleanor's life at a later date.
