We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2024, at the age of 90, Elbia Luther of Asheboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earlie Carson Hurley and Vernie Williams Hurley; her husband Cecil William Luther; her daughters, Wanda Coltrane, Mary, Martha and Rebecca; and her grandson Steven "Buffy" Lamb.
She is survived by: her children, Naomi Chriscoe of Asheboro, Delores Richardson of Asheboro, Gwen Cox of Asheboro, Lynn Garner of Asheboro, Sammy Luther (Joyce) of Asheboro, Edward Luther (Linda) of Asheboro, Jerry Luther (Tina) of Asheboro, John Luther (Tina) of Asheboro and Paul Luther of Asheboro; and her sisters-in-law, Doris Hurley of Seagrove and Avalee Hurley of Seagrove. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
