He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin McGrath, Sr. and Dora Garner McGrath; and his brother John Robinson McGrath. He is survived by: his son Robbie McGrath (Leslie); his grandson Wyatt Andrew McGrath; his sister-in-law Susana McGrath; and his nieces, Carrie Doss (Nick) and Sarah Blaser (Nick).
