He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha; and his wife Bonnie Cothran Brooks. He is survived by: his brothers, Emerson Lee Brooks (Kathy) of Ramsuer, Jack Brooks (Melody) of Adams, NY, Arnold Brooks Jr. (Pat) of Asheboro and Ron Rutkowski of Myrtle Beach, SC; and also, Thomas Cothran (Shilla) and Timothy Cothran (Ashely). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph in Mr. Brook's honor.
