With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna B. King of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Wade Burroughs and Julia Marie Lefler Burroughs; her former husband Curtis Hatley; her husband Cline King; and her brothers, Clyde Burroughs, Jr., Howard Burroughs, Lacy Burroughs, Eugene Burroughs and James Burroughs.
She is survived by: her sister Doris B. Covington of Asheboro; her nieces and nephews, Michael Burroughs (Kim) of Asheboro, Kevin Burroughs (Karen) of Mount Gilead, Len Burroughs (Mandy) of Jamestown, Beth Hall (John) of Mount Gilead and Karen Lowder (George) of Richfield; and her caregivers, Emma Wansley, Vicky Drake and Samantha Cockman.
