He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Brown and Rona McNeill Brown; his brothers, David Brown and Michael Brown; his son Teddy Brown; and his grandson Jamie Mabe.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Brown; his children, Tammy Maness (Don), Tommy Brown (Sue) and Lee Cooper (Judy); his sisters, Doris Smith (Jay), Judy Upchurch (Robert), Barbara Morgan and Nell Gaines (Dannie); and his grandchildren, Holly Larrabee (Pat), Brooke Fender (Shane), Tiffany Staley (Jesse), Jeremy Mabe, Nicholas Brown (Melissa) and Cody Bates. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
