She is survived by: her children, Wendy Ward Heafner (Bill), Leesa Ward Rush (Chuck) and Evans Vestal Ward; her grandchildren, Lee Miller (Jenny), Westly Miller (Erica), Lane Miller (Molly), Brad Rush (Jessica), Brynn Staley (Rob) and Ryne Rush (Erin); her great grandchildren, Megan Omer, Gage Miller, Hank, Hayward, Betty Miller, Bailey Rush, Camden Miller, Kaylynn Staley and Ryder Rush; and her great great grandchild Ayden Omer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Brower's Chapel United Methodist Church (1030 Browers Chapel Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205).
