She was predeceased by: her son Larry Allen Doss; and her parents, Doc Hicks and Dillie McDaniel Hicks. She is survived by: her children, Cindy McNeill of Asheboro and Danny Doss of Asheboro; her sister Betty Hicks Brown of Staley; and also, Ronnie of Asheboro and Sherree of Asheboro. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
