She is survived by: her husband Cecil Carter; her children, Tammy Johnson, Wayne Carter (Lori) of Trinity, Sandra Johnson (Robert) of Sanford, Jeremiah Byrd (Melissa) of Asheboro and Dawn Johnson (Nathan) of New Hope; her siblings, Wesley Wilkerson (Clara Mae) of Asheboro, Louise Hill (Tom) of Sophia and Novella Carter of Seagrove; her grandchildren, Tiffany Luck (Jason), C. J. Millikan (Eddie), Triston Johnson, Trayton Johnson, Trenton Johnson, Maddison Carter, Logan Carter, Kamden Carter and Ally Needham; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Luck, Kaelyn Luck and Kynleigh Johnson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
