It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Shaw of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Doris shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Doris farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Randall Hurley and Martha Honney Hurley; and her husband Ernest A. Shaw. She is survived by: her daughter Treva Henderson of Asheboro; her brother David Hurley (Minnie Jo) of Asheboro; her granddaughter Lisa Henderson; and her great grandchild Hollyn Bullins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
