He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Carman Jr. and Catherine Cornelius Carman. He is survived by: his wife Susan Johnson Carman; his children, Jonathan Carman and Amanda Carman; his brothers, Gregory Carman, Charles Carman and Fred Carman; and his siblings-in-law, James Johnson (Denny Johnson) and Nancy Bunch (Linda Faircloth). He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
