With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Burton Bonkemeyer (Asheboro, North Carolina), who passed away on July 2, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian Bonkemeyer and Corda Underwood Bonkemeyer; and his siblings, Loretta B. Williams (Marvin), Edward and Bobby Bonkemeyer.
He is survived by: his friend Miss Thyra Nance; his siblings, Charles Bonkemeyer (Linda), Lois Rumbley (Ray) and Shelba Laughlin (Malcom); and his sister-in-law Gretna Bonkemeyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
