He was predeceased by: his father William "Bill" Callahan; and his siblings, J. C. Callahan, Ilene Marion and Ada Perry. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Callahan; his daughters, Tina Callahan Rouse (Zach) of Asheboro and Amanda Callahan Myles (Daniel) of Campton, NH; his siblings, Bonnie McGee of Burlington, Venar Jones of Burlington, Sadie Callahan (Joe) of Durham, Mazie Branson of Burlington and William Callahan of Asheboro; his grandsons, Nathan Luck, Waylon Myles and Clayton Myles; and his great grandchildren, Jaden Brown, Kayleigh Luck and Brennan Luck.
