He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Louise Scott Wright; his parents, Alfred Raymond and Beulah May Craven Wright; and his siblings, Celia Hicks, Inez Staley, Pauline Bescher, Mozelle Whitley, Clayson Wright, Bill Wright, Harold Wright, Sulon Wright, Alfred Wright and James Wright.
He is survived by: his sons, Reece Wright (Gwen) of Ramseur, Darrell Wright (Sheela) of Franklinville and Barry Wright (Lisa) of Asheboro; his sisters, Hilda Faye Williams of Asheville and Leona Allice Case of Vero Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Susan Wright of Ramseur, Jeffrey Wright (Dana) of Franklinville, Joshua Wright (Lindsay) of Franklinville, Jason Wright (Heather) of Franklinville and Erica Wright Husek (Adam) of Swansboro; and his great grandchildren, R. J. Wright, Jeremiah Wright, Sadie Wright, Avery Wright, Natalie Wright and Rilen Wright (Geneva Moye) of Ramseur.
