He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Mullins Day; his children, Delores Ann Riffe (Timothy) of Asheboro and William Bradley Day (Angela) of Shallotte; his siblings, Marylis Day, Sue Mullins, Bonnie Kennedy, Cora Hagerman (Carl), Sharon Day and Herman Day (Betty); his grandchildren, Paige Day, Payton Day, Pagent Day and Will Day; his great grandchildren, Adalynn King and Gavin Day; and his close friend Tommy Lowe.
