He is survived by: his children, Debra Lanier (Arnold) of Denton and Kevin Hoover (Dionne) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Phillip Lanier (Angela) of Asheboro, Amy Lawson (Mike) of Lexington, Julie Hurley (Gene) of Troy, John Hunsuker of Asheboro and Alexis Curry of Albemarle; his great grandchildren, Makayla Sanders (Ben), Abby Jean Hurley, Carson Yates, Kylee Yates, Spencer Lanier (Brianna), Debranna Lanier, Ellie Lanier and Levi Lanier; and his great great grandchild Gracelynn Sanders.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
