She was predeceased by: her parent Herbert Peterson; her husband Joseph Cox; and her brother Ashton Peterson. She is survived by: her parent Mary Peterson; her children, Linda Cox Hipps (Jon) of High Point and Herbert C. Cox (Dawn) of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Scott Campbell (Cindy), Melanie Witek (Steve), Brandon Cox (Allison), John Bremer, Lauren Watkins and Leslee Walser (Taylor); and her sister-in-law Ola Peterson of Hampton, VA. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
