Charles Shores Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2021, at the age of 83, Charles Shores Sr. of Asheboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Gooch Shores; his former wife Edith Shores; his son Charles R. Shores, Jr.; and his parents, Chester Shores and Maude Donahue Shores.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Moran (Paul Pugh) of Ramseur, Shelia Shores Watts (Bobby) of High Point, Tracy Leigh Shores of Asheboro, Susan Eileen Gooch Henson of Asheboro and Robert Craig Gooch (Martha) of Asheboro; his daughter-in-law Joyce Shores of Coleridge; and his pet Sheba Rose. He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren.
The family requests that all attendees please wear masks and practice social distancing at the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Hospice of Randolph County, 416 Vision Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203.
