He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleon Shaw and Lucy Wrenn Shaw; and his son Ryan Charles Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Anne Hygon Shaw of Asheboro; his daughters, Jennifer Jones of Asheboro and Jessica Cashatt (Matt) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Alice Cashatt, Madison Cashatt and Wiley Jones of Asheboro; and his sisters, Jeannette Shaw (Tony Harkey) of Southern Pines, Reba Ferdman (Larry) of Swarthmore, PA and Aretta Craven (Neal) of Asheboro. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
