He is survived by: his wife Catherine Loy McCaffrey-Dinga; his son Mike; his daughter-in-law Bonnie West of Salisbury, NC; his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Tina Dinga of Cincinnati, OH; his stepdaughter Ann McCaffrey of Asheville, NC; his grandchildren, Sarah West Kline, Rachel West, Isabella Dinga and Griffin Dinga; and his stepgrandson Devon Collins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, or a charity of the donor's choice.
