It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl F. Dunker of Asheboro, North Carolina, born in Cairo, Illinois, who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Joseph and Lavonia Dunker; his wife Barbara Dunker; and his siblings, Shirley Dunker and Joe Kenneth Dunker.

He is survived by: his children, David Dunker of Asheboro, Barbara Roe (Charles) of Silver Spring, MD and Steven Dunker (Gwyn) of New Bern; his grandchildren, Mark Dunker (Angie) of Greensboro, Jason Dunker (Kisha) of Carolina Beach and Sarah Dunker of New Bern; his great grandchildren, Austin, Meredith and Peyton; his siblings, Jack Dunker of Vienna, Wilbur Dunker (Peggy) of Paducah, Kay Niestrath (Nick), Mary Jane Edmonds (Randy) of Anna and Judy Wadley of Mounds; and his close friend Vickie Teague of Asheboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203 and will be accepted at the Church.
