It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Barfield of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Hoover and Ina Routh Hoover; her husband Johnny Barfield, Sr.; and her siblings, Tommy Hoover and Cathy Robbins.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Tate (Ezio Filippini) and Michael Brady of Asheboro; her stepchildren, Bonnie Mae Barfield, Johnny Ray Barfield, Jr. and Matthew Barfield (Michelle); her siblings, Judy Hamilton (Greg) of Asheboro, Tex Hoover (Nancy) of Randleman, Rick Hoover (Becky Cranford) of Asheboro and David Hoover (Rhonda) of Asheboro; her grandchild Ashley Davis; her great grandchildren, Abbie Davis, Maddie Davis, Payton Davis, Jack Davis and Isaiah Davis; and her great great grandchild Asher Creel.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
