Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Blanchie Lewis in Asheboro, North Carolina, born in Carthage, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 77, on January 22, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Martin and Josephine Martin; and her siblings, Almeta McNeill, Viola Elliott, Linda Martin, Vilena Brown and James Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Martin of Greensboro, Shantine Bowden (Bobby Lee) of McLeansville and John Johnson of Asheboro; and her siblings, Bernice Williams (Sam), Lee Martin Sr. (Bonnie) of Asheboro and Alton Martin. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's United Methodist Church (169 Burns St, Asheboro, NC 27203).
