He is survived by: his wife Faye Tedder Byrd; his son Craig Adam Byrd (Julie) of Thomasville; his grandsons, Ryan Phillip Byrd and Parker David Byrd; his siblings, J. B. Byrd (Pat) of Asheboro, Roger Byrd (Linda) of Asheboro and Carol B. Yates; and his friends, Donald Strider and George Porpeglia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
