He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Bunting and Clara Ozment Bunting; his sons, Billy Bryson and Ricky Bryson; and his siblings, Buck Bunting, Gene Bunting, Kat Kennedy, Ruby Parkin, Margie Palmer and Faye Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sisk Bunting; his stepchildren, Lisa Tylicki of Asheboro and Mark Baker of Asheboro; his sisters, Pansy Harrington (Barry) of Asheboro, Sue Allen (Larry) of Asheboro and Deb Murray (Johnny) of Asheboro; and his grandchildren, Michael Tylicki, Tim Tylicki, Ashley Baker and Jesse Bryson.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
