He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Haymore Browder and Eunice Ethel Spainhour Browder; his daughter Brenda Gaye Rich; his son-in-law Jimmy Winningham; and his siblings, Margie Draughn, Angie Mae Draughn, Thelma Draughn, Corine Odum, J. H. Browder, Grady Browder and Dean Browder.
He is survived by: his wife Janette Brinkley Browder; his daughter Shelia Winningham Allison (Mike) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Brian Yow (Laurie), Jeffrey Winningham, Kaili Yow, Kiersten Yow, Kamryn Yow, Tessa Winningham and Whyatt Winningham; and his son-in-law Eugene Rich (Jean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
