She was predeceased by: her parents, Dice Freeman and Minnie York Freeman; her daughter Barbara Jones Poe; and her siblings, James Freeman, Henry Freeman, John Freeman, Tommy Freeman, Bill Freeman, Dot Perry, Bertha Lineberry and Martha Wright.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Jones (Brenda) of Franklinville, Tony Brady of Asheboro and Jerry Jones (Sherron) of Asheboro; her sister Gertha Ellington; and her grandchildren, Michael Jones, Tammy Poe Couch (Danny) of Franklinville, Tim Jones, T. J. Jones, Amanda Jones Hardin (Jonathan) and Gracilyn Brady. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
