She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arlie Yow and Molene Trotter Yow Brantley (James Reece Brantley); her husband Ralph McMillan; her son Donald "Donnie" Lamar; and her siblings, Mary Ludlum, JoAnn Cranford, Louise Cole and Robert Yow.

She is survived by: her son Michael Lamar (Judy); and her stepchildren, Duane McMillan, Tammy McMillan and Wanda McMillan Lisk. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and several step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren.
