It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty McLeod-Renegar (Asheboro, North Carolina), who passed away on July 4, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Jasper Huneycutt; her former husbands, James McLeod and Clarence "Sonny" Renegar; and her sister Shirley Wright. She is survived by: her parent Vera Huneycutt; her daughters, Susan McLeod Behr (Bob) of Asheboro and Cindy McLeod Myers (Randall) of Asheboro; her sisters, Frances Huneycutt Dunn (Neal) of Asheboro and Linda Huneycutt Lowdermilk (James) of Garner; her grandchildren, Robert "Robbie" Behr (Anna) of Holly Springs, Jennifer Behr (Matt Cohen) of Raleigh, Katie Myers Davenport (Zak) of Raleigh and Mindy Myers Garner (Ross) of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Foster Davenport, Brady Davenport, Warren Garner and Robert "Tripp" Behr.
