She was predeceased by: her parents, Astor Lonnie Luck and Loutishia McPherson Luck; her husband Clarence Robert Adams; her siblings, Roland McPherson, Lonnie Luck, Johnny Luck (Shirley), Martha Luck Sauders and Dora Etta Koesy (Sheldon); and her siblings-in-law, James Adams, Ray Adams (Judy), Ricky Adams and Doris Adams.

She is survived by: her sons, Randy Eugene Adams (Brenda) of Asheboro and Robert Dale Adams of Asheboro; her foster daughter Lori; her grandson Jonathan "John" Adams (Rebecca) of Asheboro; her great grandchildren, Grayson of Asheboro and Brittlee of Asheboro; her stepgrandchildren, Ben Peterson of Candor and Lara Peterson of Pinehurst; her stepgreat-grandsons, Landon Crabb and Christopher Edwards; and her sisters-in-law, Odelia Luck of Asheboro, Joanna Adams of Michigan and Ruth Adams of Thomasville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
