She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar McCain and Annie Harshaw McCain; her husband Lewis H. Goss; and her son Edward L. McCain. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Dennis M. McCain (Kathy) of Tacoma, WA, Dwight M. McCain of Asheboro, NC, Wanda M. Gaines (Monroe) of Randleman, NC, Brenda C. Goss of Asheboro, NC, Christine A. Mungin (Alex) of Asheboro, NC and Lexa M. Goss of Asheboro, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
