He was predeceased by: his parents, Czeslaw "Chester" Lopienski and Katarzyna "Katherine" Hyjeck Lopienski; and his siblings, Johnny Shenda, Kas Lopienski, Felix Lopienski, Louie Lopienski, Eugene Lopienski, Stanley Lopienski, Wanda Lopienski, Sophie Goodwin and Teddy Lopienski.
He is survived by: his wife Mary E. "Lib" Lopienski; his children, Benny Lopienski (Linda) of Asheboro, Chris Lopienski of Asheboro, Debbie Coble (Alfred) of Ramseur and Bernadine Wardlaw (Mark) of Asheboro; his sister Stella Tsaclas of Riverhead, NY; his grandchildren, John Lopienski (Katie), Elizabeth McElreath (Beau), Ashley Fox (Adam), Eric Wardlaw (Julie), Jennifer Wardlaw, Savannah Wardlaw and Olivia Wardlaw; and his great grandchildren, Judson Lopienski, Weston McElreath and Anna McElreath.
