She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother Duck Thompson; her parents, Luther Duck and Vern Nell Chislom Duck; her husband Charles Malcom Thompson; her siblings, Marcie Oister, George Nelson and James Duck; her daughters, Patty Mulkey (Bill) of Asheboro and Cheryll Beard of Asheboro; her brother Mike Duck of Texas; her grandchildren, Mike Mulkey (Brandy) and Heather Holder; her great grandchild Wesley Mulkey; and her close friend Joyce Smith.
