He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie "Tip" Clifton and Josie Marie Perdue; his children, Tammy Janine Perdue and Alan Bryan Perdue; and his siblings, Doris Jean Hurley, Austin Ray Perdue and Kenneth Cleveland Perdue.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Faye Perdue; his son Sandy Lee Perdue; his grandchildren, Christopher Alan Perdue and Tabatha Janine Perdue; his siblings, Larry Perdue, Stevie Perdue, Peggy Causey, Betty Causey, Shirley Rich and Rhonda Albertson; and also Rick McCranie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Mt. Shepherd United Methodist Church, 844 Mt. Shepherd Road, Asheboro, NC 27205.
