She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter T. Whitley and Hallie Waldon Whitley; her husband John Alton Beeson; her daughter Gail Jernigan; and her great grandchild Ethan Frazier.
She is survived by: her daughter Glenda Diane Watson (Lawrence) of Asheboro; and her grandchildren, Tammy Hill (Randy), Penny Watson, Tina Coggins (James), Phillip Jernigan (Rachael) and Melissa Carlisle (Damon). She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren.
