He was predeceased by: his parents, German Evans and Polly Malinda Pruitt; his wife Wilda Clewis Evans; and his brother Elbert Evans Jr.. He is survived by: his niece Malinda Evans Hinson (Dale) of Chadbourn; his great-nephews, Brian Clemmons of Ash and Jeremie Clemmons (Sandra) of Chadbourn; and his great-niece Melissa Clemmons (Jason Thompson) of Whiteville.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Baptist Church (3784 Exum Rd NW, Ash, NC 28420).
