She was predeceased by: her mothers, Lora Duncan and Leah King Duncan; her husband Burquin "Doogle" Fowler; her sons, Harold Dean Fowler, Dennie Ray Fowler and Jeff Fowler; her siblings, Rev. Edward Duncan, Rev. Robert Lee Duncan, James Duncan and Eva Mae Fowler; and her grandson Chris Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Charles W. Fowler (Debra) and Yvonne Simmons (Ted) of Ash; and her siblings, Dotridge "Dot" Duncan of Supply and Reba Marlowe (Dale) of Wilmington. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
