With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loudella Babson of Ash, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on June 15, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kivie McRay Simmons, Sr. and Louie Belle Hughes Simmons; her husband Walter L. "Verney" Babson; her daughters, Barbara Lynn Milliken and Teresa Ann McLean; her brother K. M. Simmons; and her grandchildren, Stuart Chamberlin and Tonya Babson.
She is survived by: her children, Kelvin Michael Babson of Little River, SC and Priscilla Chamberlin (Sandy) of Holden Beach; her grandchildren, Cory Chamberlin, McCray Babson, Kelvin Michael Babson, Jr., Heather Acura, Alex Totzke and Ashley Heflin; her sister-in-law Sonda Simmons of Whiteville; and her close friends, Cyndi Piscitelle, Jeanette McPherson and Cindy Babson. She is also survived by Eleven great-grandchildren.
