He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Garland Ward and Katherine Carrie Ward; and his wife Brenda Joyce Fowler Ward. He is survived by: his children, Roland Eugene Ward (Katie), Sarah Elaine Garrell (Mickey) of West Jefferson and Breann Carlisle (Wesley) of Ash; his sister Wanda Smith (Gene) of Lake Waccamaw; his grandchildren, Scooter, Ellie, Olivia and Destiny; and his great grandchild Hunter.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Myrtle Head Cemetery (7125 Parker Rd NW, Ash, NC 28420).
