She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewitt Tison and Rosie Long Tison; her husband Arthur Lee Williams; her siblings, Lois Rhuvene King, Doris Hamaker and Lloyd Tison; and her half-siblings, Earl, Merle Tison, Virginia Tison Butner and Ellen Tison.
She is survived by: her aunt Emma (Albert Mintz); her friend Grace Young; her sons, Joey A. Williams (Renee) of Taylorsville, NC and Mitchell L. Williams of Ash, NC.; her grandchildren, Kelly Williams Patterson (Jeff) and Kristen Williams Icard (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Josie Patterson, Claire, John Icard, Emily Norris, Kaylee and Nathan Williams; her nephew Edgar Tison; and her cousins, Ruby Thompson and Bobbie Jean Russ.
