With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Ivan Babson of Ash, North Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Whit and Amanda Stella Smith Babson; and his siblings, Bobby Joe, Herman, Nelson, Burtis, Eudell Smith, Lyda Belle Coleman and Hazel Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie Danker Babson; his children, Scottie Lee (Susie), Chris (Tiffany) and Amanda (Patrick); his siblings, Belton, Wilma "Jack" and Donna; his grandchildren, Brett, Tyler, Summer and Sydnee; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Tucker and Brody. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
