He is survived by: his son Legrant Evans (Marilyn) of Swansboro; his adoptive daughter Carolyn Sayre; his grandchildren, Austin Evans and Jessica Datillo; and his close friends, Trent Evans, Tracy Evans and Jerry Potter. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; host of loving nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
