He is survived by: his wife Mallie H. Barefoot of Ash, NC; his children, Eric Daniel Barefoot of Holden Beach and Marrissa Auten of Leland; his stepson Richard Denning of Benson; his parent Peggy Barefoot of Coats; his half-siblings, Melanie Massengill of Four Oaks and Michael Barefoot of Winston Salem; his stepbrother Ricky Stevens of Clayton; his mother Carolyn Barefoot; his brother Jimmy C. Barefoot; his stepmother Lorene Barefoot; and also, Karen Barnett of Greenville, David Barefoot of Winston Salem and Chuck Regan of Coats.
