He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lee Nelson and Maggie Mae Hobgood Nelson; and his wife Betty Smith Nelson. He is survived by: his daughters, Pat Nelson of Alpharetta, GA, Jennifer Sugg of Cumming, GA, Tanya Bellamy (Jason) of Calabash, NC and Joy Blum (Jon) of Calabash, NC; his sisters, Lou Slaughter of Farmville, NC and Margaret May of Farmville, NC; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Noah, Jesse, Kylee and Brayden.
Masks and social distancing will be observed.
