He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Anne Patterson Looney; his daughter Teresa Anne Rose; his grandson Bryan Jackson; and his sister Pam Hensley. He is survived by: his sisters, Susan Rector (Terry) of Candler, Judy Edmonds of Fletcher, Joyce Landreth of Asheville and Paula Taylor of Concord, NC; and his sister-in-law Alene Kinsland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
