It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William F. Wilkie of Arden, North Carolina, born in Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Wilkie and Annie Powers Wilkie. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Kaplon (Bruce) of Hebron, IN, Patti Thornton (Brian), Kristin Wilkie of Sanford, NC, William C. Wilkie of Petersburg, IL and Timothy G. Wilkie (Cindy) of Rosman, NC; and his brother Harold E. Wilkie (Nellie) of Fletcher, NC. He is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
