He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Buckner Bucklew and Bernadette Leah Friend Bucklew; his son Tommy Eugene Bucklew; and his siblings, Jim Bucklew, David Bucklew, Charles Bucklew and Sue Bucklew Sirk.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Lee Bucklew; his daughters, Anna B. Keith (Bill) and Tonya Blair; and his stepchildren, Allen Stewart of Swannanoa and Tina Dotson (Brian) of Asheville, NC.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
