He is survived by: his wife Jane Hamrick Spangler; his children, Jason Spangler (Jackie) of Denver and Mandy Larsen (George) of Oak Ridge, NC; his brother Dean Spangler (Debbie) of Shelby; and his grandchildren, Nolan Spangler, Avery Spangler, Luke Spangler, Todd Wooten, Bailey Wooten and Ava Larsen.
