It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Miles Sr. (Arden, North Carolina), born in Nashville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Campbell Gentry and Lilie McClure Miles; his wife Janet Ada Douglass Miles; his son Thomas Miles, Jr.; and his brother Campbell Miles, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Eltinge (John) of Oakton, Janet Miller of Sault Ste and Howard Miles (Teresa) of Georgetown, Kentucky; his daughter-in-law Barbara Miles of Morristown, Tennessee; and his sister Mary Alice Miles of Nashville, Tennessee. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
