She is survived by: her mother Betty Sawyer (Jack A. Sawyer, Jr.); her sisters, Rene Sawyer-Haigler and Lisa Sawyer; her great-aunts, Judi Gentry, Pat Rice and Jean Ledford; her nieces, Lacey Bradley (Andre Hemphill) and Candace Bradley; her great-nephew Peri Tillman; her great-nieces, Jehdi Tillman and Caliyah Hemphill; and her sister Tami.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sanctuary Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704).
